I was browsing one of my favorite green sites, TreeHugger, and came across some tips to save energy while driving. Living in New Jersey and having to often deal with heavy traffic, I found one particular tip the most useful. Brake the Right Way is worth reading. It's easy to get caught up in wanting to hurry to our destination as quickly as possible but take a step back (or a roll back) and think about it. Our rush could mean the rush to global warming.

That was a great article! I have been trying to correct some of my driving habits lately, and now I know I will be helping to save the planet, too!
The slipstreaming part of that article was interesting. I was just talking about that with someone. It's a bit dangerous though and I don't actually do it.
Mary - It's a good reason for all of us to take a breath and relax. I admit I get anxious on the road, too.
Patrick - I agree. It makes sense but it's also dangerous. Safety first! :)
